A person, firm, or corporation shall not maintain, store, or handle materials or conduct
processes which produce conditions hazardous to life or property, or install equipment
used in connection with such activities without first obtaining a permit from the
fire inspector. The fire inspector, in the discharge of his duties, may request and
receive the assistance and cooperation of other town officials.
